Blowdry

I couldn't help but giggle a bit when the thought alerts itself amidst my "torture". No offense to the hair stylists though, they did a good job with my hair.

I start this short personal by sketching down what I had in mind. I love to design characters, and for this particular one I settle with something simple, somewhat cute and a tad bit of exaggeration in their proportions. Once I cleaned everything up in illustrator, I played around with colours by first establishing the values in black and white first, then eventually picked the one I like.

Right away I know this is gonna be heavy on rigging. I use a combination of joystick-n-sliders + duik to control the rotations, IKs, and joysticking the shape paths.
